Day Adventure to the Mogollon Rim

Adventure Info:

  • Cost: $150 per guest

  • Trekking level: moderate / beginner friendly

  • Trekking distance one way: 1.5 - 3 miles

  • Elevation gain / loss: 850ft

  • Trail obstacles: stream crossings and some difficult terrain (bouldering, river rocks, thick brush, etc.)

  • Climate: Alpine forest (6,000ft - 7,000ft above sea level)

  • Group size: up to 4 guests, plus your guide

  • Activity options: backcountry skill learning, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, day excursions, and much more!

Trip Overview:

Enjoy a guided backcountry adventure and hike to a beautiful, yet secluded alpine stream on the Mogollon Rim. Here, guests are free to engage their natural surroundings however they like, with opportunities for exploration, swimming, and fishing throughout the day.

The locations operated in see few human visitors, often allowing you to experience these serene wilderness areas alone and without disturbance. This is a true backcountry adventure off the beaten path and far away from the crowds you see in places like Sedona.

There are also chances to encounter wildlife such as deer, elk, turkey, snakes, bald eagles, black bears, and loads more.

All trips are led by a local backcountry guide and Wilderness First Responder, trained to provide emergency medical care in remote environments.
